  • March Social - Ripley Crawl Saturday 21 March 2026 12:00

    March will see our first bus trip from the branch - this time to discover the real ale pubs of Ripley. Following our successful trips to Eastwood, Heanor and TrentBarton Nines route last year, it’s sure to be a great day.

    We'll aim to be at The Talbot Taphouse around noon, before spending the afternoon visiting Brewed Awakening, Red Lion (JD Wetherspoon), Thorntree, Pear Tree, Tom Said, and Little Roosevelt.

    The TrentBarton Nines and 90 service both service parts of the branch before arriving in Ripley. You can view the timetables on the Bus Routes page.

  • Pub of the Year Winner Presentation Monday 23 March 2026 19:00 Brown Cow

    We'll be presenting the Pub of the Year award to the Brown Cow on Monday, 23rd March, from around 7pm. The evening will also be a mini-social, so why not come along and celebrate with us? All are welcome.

    We'll present the Dixies Arms with their Pub of the Year Runner-Up Award on Thursday, 26th March, from around 7pm. The evening will be a mini-social, so why not come along and celebrate with us? All are welcome.

    Our April branch meeting will be at The Pit, Newstead.

  • April Social - Brown Cow Beer Festival Saturday 18 April 2026 Brown Cow

    April is the return of the Brown Cow Beer Festival, where we’ll spend the Saturday afternoon. Some of the committee will help staff the stillage in the upstairs Cow Shed, so be sure to come and say hello.

  • Annual General Meeting (AGM) Sunday 21 June 2026 14:00 Brown Cow

    The Mansfield & Ashfield Branch of CAMRA will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, 21st June 2026, at 14:00, upstairs at The Brown Cow, 31A Ratcliffe Gate, Mansfield, NG18 2JA.

    An account of events in the Branch over the past 12 months will be given, and all posts on the Committee for the following 12 months are up for election.

    A form to facilitate the proposal of roles will be made available in due course.
