About Us

We are a branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), a consumer organisation founded by four real ale enthusiasts back in 1971. Today, we represent beer drinkers and pub-goers across the UK. At branch level, we promote real ale, cider, and pubs through our website, social media, and magazine, Pints of View.

After re-forming a committee in 2022, we have been busy re-establishing a fully working branch. We hold a monthly branch meeting, which anyone is welcome to attend; the AGM is held in June. Social trips are also held monthly, alternating in-branch, out-of-branch and beer festivals. We are always looking for more volunteers and hope to see you at future branch meetings and events.

We currently have 583 members.
