October Social - Nottingham Pub Crawl and Beer Festival

Saturday 11 October 2025

We'll be travelling to Nottingham, where we'll visit a few pubs near to the station before going to the evening session of the Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival at Trent Bridge.

The RHBCF is one of the largest in Britain, offering more than 600 ales and ciders to choose from. Entry at the evening session is free for CAMRA members.

The itinerary is:

3pm at Brew Tavern Micropub (located next to Nottingham Train Station).
4pm - Vat and Fiddle (2 min walk, 0.1 mile from previous)
5pm - The Embankment (15 min walk, 0.7 mile from previous - if this is too far, there are bus, Uber and taxi options)
6pm - Brewhouse and Kitchen (2 min walk, 374ft from previous)
7pm - Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival (7 min walk, 0.3 miles from previous)

This works really well for those travelling into Nottingham by train. Anyone choosing to arrive by bus at or near Victoria Centre has the following options. Bus numbers 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 all leave from Upper Parliament Street, from the opposite side of the road to the main entrance to the Victoria Centre. On leaving the Vic Centre, you can see the bus stops across the road, a little to the left. They all call at the Train Station (handy for Brew Tavern and Vat and Fiddle) and pass The Embankment, Brewhouse and Kitchen en route to Trent Bridge for the beer festival. Those travelling by bus could meet up with us at any of the points, depending on the time of day.
